My name is Steve Kirkley, and I founded Forever Vet USA because no veteran should feel forgotten after their service.

When I left the Navy in 1993, I didn’t realize I was entitled to the benefits I had earned. It wasn’t until years later that I learned the truth — and by then, I had lost time and opportunities that should have been available to me.

That experience changed my life and revealed something important: many veterans don’t fully understand what they’re entitled to, and waiting too long can mean losing critical support and compensation.

I learned that the hard way — and I don’t want another veteran to go through the same thing.

Forever Vet USA exists to continue that mission — not with weapons or uniforms, but with support, technology, and connection.
